Sacred Heart receives your children through Baptism with great joy! In order to prepare you well to raise your children in the Faith, we require a short Baptismal preparation program for parents. A child is baptized into the faith community and you, the parents, are the first teachers of your child. With the assistance of your child's Godparents, you have the privilege and sacred duty to raise your child in the faith. Therefore, it is important that parents (and, if possible, the Godparents) receive catechesis before your child is baptized so that you are better equipped to fulfill the promise of fostering the faith in your little one.
"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy spirit."
-Matthew 28:19
